Every team member has an Individual Development Plan (IDP) reviewed quarterly, a monthly learning budget that needs no pre-approval, and at least 10% of their weekly time protected for applied learning.

Senior progression doesn't require managing people. We have parallel tracks with equivalent compensation.

Monthly learning budget
$150 USD/month per person for courses, books, subscriptions, and conferences — no pre-approval. Spend it on what you need.
Individual Development Plan (IDP)
Reviewed every quarter with your manager. Technical goals, soft skills, next role, and a concrete plan to get there.
Internal 1:1 mentorship
Bi-annual pairing program: every senior IC mentors a junior; every new manager gets an internal coach.
Conference sponsorship
We cover ticket + travel for one conference per year (Next.js Conf, React Summit, AWS re:Invent, Customer.io).
Friday Tech Talks
Internal 45-minute slot every Friday for anyone to present something they learned. Recorded and archived.
Cross-functional rotations
After 18 months in a role, you can request a 3-month rotation to another area (eng ↔ design ↔ product).
